"Everyone Should Do This Tour"

May 28, 2007

Dear A! Magazine,

We really enjoyed all of the sculptures in downtown Bristol. Neither of us have ever noticed any of them. They are each individually unique in their own aspects. We really liked learning all about the sculptures. We never realized all the detail and hard work that was put into them. All of them have different shapes and sizes. Some of them were made from different materials than others, like wood, copper, steel, and one was even made from recycled plastic. Dr. Marvin Tadlock and Dr. Jon Mehlferber from Virginia Intermont College explained to us the process of creating bronze and patina.

Thank you, Arts Alliance Mountain Empire (AAME), for making us better observers and citizens of Bristol. Everyone should do this tour.

Sincerely,
Mikalah Morton and Jasmine Marion
