Second year Unicoi, Tenn., artist was chosen
August 10, 2010UNICOI, TN — Michele Warner, an artist living in Unicoi, has been chosen for the second year in a row to be the Official Artist of the United States Equestrian Federation Pony Finals Championships.
Warner says, "This painting is created with children in mind, it will be used for advertising, the program cover, t-shirts and other marketing for the championship, where children who qualify for Pony Finals come from all over the country. It is a very exciting show to see the skill and determination of this young riders and their mounts."
She continues, "Normally I do custom oil portraits, but I can paint any subject matter. I specialize in creating something beautiful and meaningful to my clients in oils. Most of my work is large, but I work with the subject matter, color and scale of the space to create each custom work for the client. I like to think my work 'paints their lifes' and I love working with clients to create a lasting heirloom for their homes and families."
