Kathy Blair and her husband, owners of Murals and More in Jonesborough, Tenn., were asked to paint some fun, music-themed art on the sides of the Strings Experienced Musical Instruments building on West State Street.

For one month the couple has painted the building, switching sides as the sun moved from one side to the other to try and stay cool in this summer's record-breaking heat.

One side features a mural with a guitar and piano keys. The other side portrays a family playing music in their living room with the walls of their house cut away.

Blair was touching up the murals on Thursday, adding a few final fine details.
