ABINGDON, VA — The "dreams no mortal ever dared to dream" are spun throughout the web of Edgar Allan Poe's stories and poetry. These dreams will be explored during The Big Read of Washington County, Va., Feb. 10-Mar. 31, 2011. A National Endowment for the Arts grant-sponsored event, the program is organized by the Washington County Public Library System, Barter Theatre, and Highlands Center for Behavioral Health.
