Abingdon, Va., has gone to the wolves
By Leslie Grace | A! Magazine for the Arts | June 25, 2014Advance Abingdon, a Main Street Community organization, brings its yearly temporary exhibit of fiberglass wolves to Abingdon.
The sculptures are decorated by local artists and displayed along selected streets in the town's business and historic districts, as a cornerstone for Public Art in downtown Abingdon.
At the end of the exhibit, the wolves are auctioned to raise money to support Abingdon's main street program.
