JCPL finale to summer reading program

The Johnson City Public Library children's "Build a Better World" Summer Reading Program ends soon. All reading must be recorded by Wednesday, July 19 at 8 p.m. for children 12 years old and younger. The library celebrates all the reading the children have accomplished with the Summer Reading Finale on Thursday, July 20 from 9-11 a.m. There will be games throughout the library, crafts in the Jones Meeting Room and popcorn in the amphitheater. Children should pick up a game card at the information table when they arrive.

The Teen Summer Reading Program ends Friday, July 21 at 4 p.m. Teens 12 to 18 who have participated in the Teen Summer Reading Program are invited to attend. Come celebrate with iron cosplay, snacks and prizes.

The Adult Summer Reading Program will end on Friday, July 28 at 12 p.m. Participants will be eligible to win tickets to Biltmore, passes to Dollywood and more finale prizes.
