The Washington County (Tennessee) Public Libraries hold a variety of programs for children throughout the month.

The Just Right Book Group is for grades three through five. The book for discussion this month is “Pax" by Sara Pennypacker. Snacks and drinks are provided. This program is free and open to the public. The group meets May 10 at 4 p.m., at the Gray Library and May 16 at 4 p.m., at the Jonesborough Library.

The Jonesborough Library holds a Homeschool Book Group meeting Wednesday, May 9 and 23 at 1 p.m. This month’s book is “Schooler” by Gordon Korman.

S.T.EA.M. Saturdays is for kids to explore science, technology, engineering, art and by using oil and water fireworks. The program is May 12 at 10 a.m. at the Gray Library and May 26 at 10 a.m. at the Jonesborough Library.

Miss Jaden leads Music Morning May 14 at 10 a.m. at the Gray Library. Music Morning is an opportunity for toddlers aged 18 months-3 years and their parents to come together for one-on-one music and story fun. Sessions last about 30 minutes and are free to attend. Registration is not required.
