SWVA Museum to Feature Charcoal Drawing Workshop

BIG STONE GAP, VA. — The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park continues its 2019 Artisan Series of programs with the May theme “Charcoal Drawing Workshop” hosted by Teresa Robinette. The workshop is held Monday, May 20, from 6-8 p.m. in the museum’s Victorian Parlor.

Do you love to draw? Come join local artisan Teresa Robinette and learn the basic beginning steps to charcoal drawing. Participants who register for the “Charcoal Drawing Workshop” will join Robinette for a fun-filled evening learning how to create an original charcoal drawing. Workshop is for adults only.

The fee for the “Charcoal Drawing Workshop” is $12 per person; all supplies and materials are included.

The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park’s Artisan Series offers a craft project on the third Monday of every month from March through December, providing visitors with opportunities to create handmade crafts with regional artisans.
