BIG STONE GAP, VA. — The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park continues its 2019 Artisan Series of programs with the June theme, “Ceramic Mushroom Garden Stakes Workshop” hosted by Tricia Cahoon. The workshop is held Monday, June 17, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the museum’s Victorian Parlor.

Do you want to learn how to make your own ceramic mushroom garden stakes? Come join local artisan Tricia Cahoon and learn how to hand-form wet clay into small pinch pots and roll out the stems for the mushrooms. Participants who register for the “Ceramic Mushroom Garden Stakes Workshop” will join Tricia for a fun-filled evening learning how to create an original garden stake for decorating your garden, window boxes or planters. Workshop is for adults only.

The fee for the “Ceramic Mushroom Garden Stakes Workshop” will be $15 per person; all supplies and materials are included.

Spaces are limited for the workshop, register by calling (276) 523-1322.
