Summer Reading Program at Washington County TN Libraries

A Universe of Stories is the theme of this year's Summer Reading Program blasting off this month at Washington County, Tennessee, Gray and Jonesborough libraries.

Children up to rising fifth graders are invited to participate in this summer's activities, which continue through July 18. All weekly shows begin at 10 a.m., at both Washington County libraries.

June Programs

Mr. Bill's Hoot N Holler Show: So much fun you will be jumping out of your seat. The show features lots of participation, tricks, and laughter. Jonesborough June 12 / Gray June 13

Magic Taylor: The universe, reading and magic are all amazing. Enjoy an hour of magic and fun, to get you excited about returning to your library each week for more books and fun. Jonesborough June 19 / Gray June 27

Jonesborough Repertory Theater Players: One of the universe' s biggest storytellers, Mark Twain, is in the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre's traveling troupe's show of the classic "The Prince and the Pauper." This play is full of physical comedy, clowning, antics and gags. Gray June 20 / Jonesborough June 26

All children are welcome to register for programs at the library or online at www.wclibrarytn.org.

In addition to the fun weekly programs, children can earn points for free books, coupons and an invitation to the finale at Bays Mountain Park and Planetarium.
